Strategic Planning Director

This is an exciting opportunity to lead planning and customer service activities at Zenith People LTD as a Planning Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
Main Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Take charge of planning activities, including works order creation, scheduling, and planning controls best practice.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support the company's strategy.
- Inventory Control: Ensure that available systems, such as PFEP and S&OP, are utilized to continuously improve planning activities and maintain inventory control objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Divisional Supply Chain Manager to develop the Forecasting and Goods Strategy (FGS) in line with the Production and Operations Planning (POP) rationale.
- Inventory Optimization: Control material component inventory while reducing inventory to agreed targets.
- Planning Control Systems: Implement planning control systems to drive collaborative forecasting between departments and premier customers.
- Support and Development: Support internal and external audits, review FGS stock in line with planning schedules, and adjust accordingly. Additionally, support the professional development of all team members and actively implement Lean principles.
