Job Title: Facilities and Building Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

GE Aviation is seeking a skilled Facilities and Building Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for coordinating technical aspects of refurbishment and construction projects across our 13-building site. Your primary focus will be on delivering tactical project elements, ensuring that projects are completed safely, to a high standard of quality, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate day-to-day project activities and technical deliverables
* Develop project scoping documents through technical assessments with stakeholders
* Provide input to project budgets, escalating any variations to project scope
* Ensure the accuracy of data input and general project administration, O&M documentation, and paperwork are delivered at the end of each project
* Coordinate site operations and resources to meet project demands
* Adhere to GE Aviation EHS guidelines on compliance and safety on all projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of expectations
* Understand and interpret RAMS

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a strategic facilities environment or related role
* Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Understanding and application of CDM regulations 2015
* Understanding of UK building regulations
* Technical site expertise or similar experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment
* Understanding of building services, infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structured cabling, fire safety, and security systems
* Good communication skills, able to work with stakeholders to develop project brief documents that will support the overall project document pack throughout
* Ability to read, interpret, and develop technical information and drawings
* Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
* Effective written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, and AutoCAD

* Understanding of building services/built environment
* Understanding of sprinkler systems and BMS
* SMSTS Qualification
* IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification
* Project Management Qualification
