Electronics Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established, multi-branch engineering business based in Liverpool.

The company specializes in both electrical and mechanical engineering, boasting extensive knowledge, expertise, and equipment that enable them to provide a comprehensive turnkey fault-find, repair, and manufacture service for clients.

A growing demand from clients has led to an immediate requirement for an experienced Electronics Technician who can apply electronics theory to diagnose and resolve faults, identify, construct, test, and use electronic components, design and build electronic circuits, and operate test equipment such as multimeters, function generators, and oscilloscopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve faults by applying electronics theory
  • Identify and utilize electronic components effectively
  • Design and construct electronic circuits efficiently
  • Operate complex test equipment including multimeters, function generators, and oscilloscopes

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with drive systems, controllers, and power supplies
  • Basic knowledge of PCs and file management

This role comes with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, along with company pension and 4 weeks' holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years). This position is ideal for a resourceful and competent repair technician with the necessary experience.
