About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Manager to lead our Shared Lives team in Dorset. As a key member of our social care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of Shared Lives Officers and provide guidance, assistance, and tools to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support.
- Develop and implement innovative care plans that meet the unique needs of our service users.
- Work closely with our nominated individual and other colleagues to ensure the success of our Shared Lives scheme.
- Collaborate with external partners to promote our services and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of leadership in a CQC-regulated social care service.
- Clear ability to demonstrate leadership skills and 'fit to be registered' as a manager within the meaning of regulation 7 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care, or a bachelor's or Masters degree in a relevant subject.
