Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate pharmacy technician to join our team at NHS Professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in accuracy checking and/or medicines management, hospital pharmacy experience, and supervisory experience.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for working as part of the pharmacy team to provide an effective pharmacy service in the pharmacy dispensary, at ward level, and supporting the dispensing of out-patient prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accuracy checking and/or medicines management experience
  • Hospital pharmacy experience
  • Supervisory experience
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 and BTEC or equivalent qualification in Pharmaceutical Science
  • Regional Accredited Checking Technician qualification and/or Clinical Certificate in medicine management for Pharmacy Technicians
  • Current registration as Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
