Plaster Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced plaster technician to join our team in the plaster room and fracture clinics within the NHS.
The successful candidate will have completed the British Casting Certificate (BCC) plaster technician course or equivalent, and work in accordance with the Association of Orthopaedic Practitioners (AOP) and British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) code of professional practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake patient assessments and participate in the care plan following this.
- Provide emotional and practical support of parents and carers of children.
- Advise and educate patients and their carers on all aspects of caring.
Person Specification: Qualifications
- British Casting Certificate (BCC) plaster technician course or equivalent
- English GCSE or equivalent

Estimated salary range is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check for previous criminal convictions.
