Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will play a crucial role in providing an effective pharmacy service in the dispensary and supporting the dispensing of out-patient prescriptions.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Accuracy checking and/or medicines management experience
  • Hospital pharmacy experience
  • Supervisory experience
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To work as part of the pharmacy team to provide an effective pharmacy service in the pharmacy dispensary, at ward level, and to support the dispensing of out-patient prescriptions.
  • To participate in the on-call rota.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 and BTEC or equivalent qualification in Pharmaceutical Science
  • Regional Accredited Checking Technician qualification and/or Clinical Certificate in medicine management for Pharmacy Technicians
  • Current registration as Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
