Social Worker in Family Placement Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker in Family Placement Team Lead to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will lead the planning and co-ordination of a comprehensive Family Placement Service. Your responsibilities will include working with foster carers, preparing assessment reports, and supporting children in need of a family placement.

- Lead the Family Placement Team, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the planning and co-ordination of the Family Placement Service, resulting in better outcomes for children and families.
- Prepare and present reports to the Fostering Panel, showcasing your expertise and commitment to excellence.
- Liaise with other professional staff, participating in meetings and conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support existing placements, developing support packages in cooperation with other staff, and ensuring the needs of children and families are met.
- Conduct family finding and placement supervision for children and young people referred for family placement, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality at all times and adhering to data protection regulations.
- Monitor local targets for service provision, maintaining records as required and contributing to the achievement of good quality services.
- A social work qualification or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
- An estimated salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, reflecting the value we place on our employees' skills and contributions.
