Credit Control and Administration Role

We are looking for a skilled Finance Assistant to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality financial support and contributing to the company's success.
The salary for this role is approximately £25,500-£26,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes a range of additional benefits such as free parking, 20 days holiday, and regular training opportunities.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for day-to-day credit control management, ensuring timely payment from customers and maintaining accurate records.
- You will create new customer and supplier accounts on Sage, raise invoices and purchase orders, and upload invoices onto customer portals.
- You will input supplier invoices, code and match PODs, and promptly raise sales invoices and applications for payments upon completion of work.
- You will process credit card expenses onto Excel and Sage, maintain the order book, and keep product costs up to date on Sage.
Your Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years recent experience in a company finance team, with a focus on credit control
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organisational skills
- High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
