About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team at Shorterm Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our General Managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our office in Long Marston.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an Office Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of handling financial and confidential information. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to operate effectively at all levels within the organization.
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of the office, including meetings, facilities bookings, and event management.
- Liaising with contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and professional experience.
- Sourcing and coordinating catering and additional items for VIP and other meetings.
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external events on site.
- Managing site supplies, including PPE, stationery, and consumables.
- Administering contractor access and managing site finances, working closely with the Finance Department.
- Supporting credit control processes and maintaining accurate records of expenditure.
- Providing administrative support to the General Managers and raising requisitions in line with company procedures.
- Coordinating payroll and timesheet submissions for staff based at Long Marston.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A-Level education or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in an Office Manager or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
