Shorterm Group is a leading provider of digitally enabled rolling stock solutions that contribute hugely towards the success of Britain's railways. We own and lease new rolling stock vehicles and offer asset management services that drive performance, safety, and suitability for the asset's lifespan.

We are committed to delivering high-quality services to our customers and are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our General Managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our office in Long Marston.

As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the office, including meetings, facilities bookings, and event management.
  • Liaising with contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and professional experience.
  • Sourcing and coordinating catering and additional items for VIP and other meetings.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external events on site.
  • Managing site supplies, including PPE, stationery, and consumables.
  • Administering contractor access and managing site finances, working closely with the Finance Department.
  • Supporting credit control processes and maintaining accurate records of expenditure.
  • Providing administrative support to the General Managers and raising requisitions in line with company procedures.
  • Coordinating payroll and timesheet submissions for staff based at Long Marston.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A-Level education or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in an Office Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
