Rotational Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Atlantis Medical Ltd in North West England. Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to join our busy, pro-active, integrated services based within our Discharge to Assess Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments for patients with a wide variety of both physical and mental health conditions as well as complex social issues, implementing treatment plans and collaborative working with our experienced MDTs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Liaise with health, social care, and voluntary agencies to ensure best possible outcomes for patients, their Carers, and families.
  • Manage a large caseload of complex patients, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of assessments and treatment plans.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and actively participate in continuous professional development activities.
Requirements
  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Extensive experience in rehabilitation.
  • Ability to manage own time and determine priorities.
  • Highly developed organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to unpredictable caseloads.
