About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Intensive Support Team (MhIST) as a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and support to our Occupational Therapists, while promoting the role of occupational therapy within the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assessment and interventions to patients within their own environment using a broad range of therapeutic assessment techniques.
  • Oversee and support a varied clinical caseload and provide person-centred and needs-led care.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Lead on quality improvement initiatives and represent the Trust in internal and external forums.
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
