Culinary Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Midland Heart. As a key member of our Retirement Living Team, you'll be responsible for preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for our customers. Your expertise will ensure that our menus offer great quality and delicious meals that cater to our customers' cultural and dietary needs.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving home-cooked meals to customers, around 15 covers per day.
- Providing an excellent service for Customers.
- Maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and restaurant area.
- Planning and engaging in themed activities and events for residents.
- Ordering and replenishing food and kitchen supplies, with a focus on staying within budget.
- Populating excel spreadsheets.
Our Ideal Candidate? We're looking for someone with previous cooking/kitchen experience, a Food Safety Level 2 qualification, and confidence in dealing with budgets and stocktaking. You should also be proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
