The Role

We're seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our Retirement Living Team at Midland Heart. This part-time role involves preparing fresh home-cooked meals for our customers, planning fortnightly menus, and managing stock and budgets.

As a Culinary Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving home-cooked meals to customers.
  • Providing an excellent service for Customers.
  • Maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and restaurant area.
  • Planning and engaging in themed activities and events for residents.
  • Ordering and replenishing food and kitchen supplies, with a focus on staying within budget.

We're looking for someone with previous cooking/kitchen experience, a Food Safety Level 2 qualification, and confidence in dealing with budgets and stocktaking. If you're highly motivated to develop self and others for consistent quality service delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
