Communications Administrator Role Overview

Key Responsibilities of the Communications Administrator:

  • Assist in delivering the annual internal communications and employee engagement strategy
  • Manage internal inboxes and communication platforms, serving as the primary contact for employee communication queries
  • Develop, design, and implement engaging content across various channels, including the intranet, newsletters, videos, blogs, and more
  • Support the creation and execution of employee engagement campaigns that promote the company's vision, values, and strategic goals
  • Partner with key stakeholders to advise on internal communication solutions, ensuring messaging aligns with business priorities
  • Research and recommend innovative communication tools and platforms to improve employee interaction
  • Organise and support internal events, such as town hall meetings, employee recognition events, and wellness initiatives
  • Collaborate on campaigns that drive diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, and sustainability initiatives within the organisation
  • Assist in the development of learning and development (L&D) materials and support the internal communications surrounding employee benefits, rewards, and recognition

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in content creation, internal communications, or employee engagement roles
  • Ability to create compelling content, with strong editorial, proofreading, and design skills
  • Familiarity with internal communication tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to convey ideas effectively
  • Creative thinker with experience in developing campaigns that engage and inspire employees
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) to assess engagement metrics
  • Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and providing strategic communication advice
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of juggling multiple projects
  • Prior experience in event coordination, marketing, or campaign management is a plus
  • Experience in creating L&D-related materials would be advantageous
