About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Internal Communications Executive to join our team at the Caravan Club. As a key member of our Internal Communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing engaging internal communications to support our Club's strategic vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Internal Communications and Benefits Manager in delivering the annual internal communications strategy, ensuring that all employees are informed and engaged.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all employee communication queries, managing the Staff News inbox and providing timely and effective responses.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the Club to advise on internal communication opportunities and solutions, ensuring that our messaging is consistent and effective.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging internal communications to the target audience, utilizing technical skills to create and support the production of communication correspondence.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the internal intranet, ensuring that it is up-to-date and relevant to our employees.
  • Conduct research and analysis to contribute to the employee engagement strategy, including supporting the management of the Club's range of Benefits, the wellbeing program, and employee reward and recognition schemes.
  • Support the Internal Communications and Benefits Manager with the delivery of impactful internal events, such as quarterly briefings, annual awards, and lunch and learns.
  • Champion health and wellbeing, D&I, and Sustainability initiatives at the Club, and be an active part of these working groups.
  • Work with the Internal Communications Manager to ensure that Compensation and Benefits programs, policies, and procedures are understood and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications and Benefits Manager and other subject matter experts to create impactful learning collateral for staff across the business.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in marketing, event coordination, or campaign management is desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity through writing skills, verbal communication, and strong presentation skills.
  • Strong editorial and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience of working with internal communication platforms, including Canva, Veed, Google, and digital newsletter software.
  • Previous experience of creating L&D collateral is an advantage.
  • Ability to build relationships and the confidence and credibility to represent Internal Communications across the business.
  • Flexible, calm approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A team player who builds rapport and is willing to participate in a broad range of tasks and activities.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
