Senior Fellow in Adult Critical Care Transfer Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced intensive care doctor to join our team as a Senior Fellow in Adult Critical Care Transfer Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the UK's most developed critical care transfer services.
Key Responsibilities:- Work as a member of the East Midlands Adult Critical Care Transfer Service (ACCOTS) team.
- Gain valuable experience in logistics and transfer of critically ill patients between critical care units and for emergency escalation to tertiary referral centres.
- Participate in national presentations of audit/data/research and have the opportunity to join the paediatric team to understand the paediatric retrieval service.
- Develop critical care transfer training including simulation in our brand new simulation suite.
- Completion of stage 1 ICM training or overseas equivalent (at least 12 months).
- Completion of stage 2 and/or 3 ICM training or international equivalent.
- Prior experience in transfer of the critically ill, completion of a transfer training course.
- Evidence of teaching at an undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Certification Course/Diploma/Masters in Medical Education.
- Medical publications or a background of research activity.
- Management training.
- A dynamic and ambitious individual the opportunity to further develop key critical care medicine skills in the provision of advanced skills in transport of the critically ill adult.
