Director of Retention

PetLab Co. is a leading pet health brand seeking a seasoned retention expert to drive customer loyalty and maximize lifetime value (LTV). As Director of Retention, you will lead the development and execution of retention strategies across multiple channels, including email, SMS, web remarketing, and direct mail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to increase customer LTV and reduce churn
  • Lead a team of retention professionals to execute retention initiatives and optimize results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive retention efforts
  • Monitor and analyze retention metrics, including LTV, churn rate, and subscription renewal rate
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance retention strategies
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in DTC retention, with a proven track record of driving LTV and reducing churn
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Experience with retention software and tools, including email marketing platforms and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and retention strategies, with the ability to develop and execute retention initiatives
