**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charity Community Fundraiser to join our team. As a Charity Community Fundraiser, you will be responsible for engaging with local communities and developing new income sources.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders. You will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Salary: Up to £26,699.40 per annum

In this role, you will travel to events across the area we serve, using your own vehicle and requiring a full UK manual driving licence with business insurance. You will be entitled to claim out of pocket expenses (mileage and parking) in accordance with our policy.

As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors, all successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Flexibility is required to cover occasional evening & weekend community events, with time off in lieu given for these hours.

St John's Hospice is a charitable incorporated organisation registered in England with charity number 1157030. We provide palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses across North Lancashire, the South Lakes, and parts of North Yorkshire.
