Job Description: Theatre Care Practitioner
Location: Wrightington Hospital, Trust: Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust
Ward: Theatres, Pay Rates: £22.76 per hour (based on a 37-hour week)
Shift Patterns: Various flexible shifts available
In this challenging and rewarding role as a Theatre Care Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and effective care for patients before, during, and after surgery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing their safety and well-being
- Medical Support: Assist medical professionals with patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the surgery team to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
- Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices
- Crisis Management: Respond effectively to crisis situations, maintaining focus and composure under pressure
