Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Xsite Braehead, Renfrewshire

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule:

  • 8 and 10 hour shifts
  • 5 over 7 day weeks with a mix of days and nights
  • 10 week rotation for easier holiday planning

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be required to work towards obtaining a CCTV licence if they do not already hold one.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants, delivering a world-class experience.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the centre, following security protocols and procedures.
  • Be professional, friendly, and courteous at all times, providing assistance to visitors as needed.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity, using intelligence and surveillance techniques.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and events.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Good team player with attention to detail
  • SIA qualification (essential)
  • CCTV qualification (desirable)
  • Customer service and security experience (desirable)
  • Full UK driving license
