Key responsibilities include:

* Leading the planning and management of patient mental health conditions
* Managing a caseload within your scope of practice
* Upskilling and training colleagues to manage acute mental health patient deteriorations
* Completing risk assessments and providing advice on mental capacity assessments
* Managing challenging or disturbed behavior
* Demonstrating safe clinical judgment in evaluating, interpreting, and documenting the outcomes of mental health nursing and other interventions

Person Specification

* Relevant post-registration experience at Band 6 in specialty area (Mental Health)
* Experience of developing policies and clinical pathways
