We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Brimsdown. The successful candidate will have a strong background in security operations management, with experience in leading and managing teams in a corporate or manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day security operations, including the deployment of security personnel, monitoring of CCTV systems, and response to security incidents. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, law enforcement agencies, and private consultants.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing advice and solutions to improve culture, process, and infrastructure throughout the client business. You will be a true relationship builder with the willingness to be a team player, and have a genuine interest in Health & Safety and how it impacts everyone around us.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of security officers to ensure the highest standards of safety and security are maintained.
- Develop and implement security policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
- Manage the day-to-day security operations, including the deployment of security personnel, monitoring of CCTV systems, and response to security incidents.
- Maintain relationships with clients, law enforcement agencies, and private consultants.
- Develop and implement effective evacuation and roll call systems, and take a proactive role in the management and coordination of site EHS incidents & emergencies.
- Ensure appropriate Safety Risk assessments are conducted for all regular and non-regular Security activities and appropriate measures are taken to ensure safe working practices.
- Strong Security Operations management experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Leadership experience.
- Security qualification or degree level education.
- Risk management expertise.
