Commercial Director

About the Role:
The Chief Commercial Officer will play a key strategic and operational role in overseeing the commercial function of the Cladding Remediation project. This will involve driving efficiencies and value-for-money across the project, ensuring accurate and professional oversight of projects, and building relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commercial function and reporting for all projects within the team, including site budgets, payments, benchmarking, WIP, cash flows, and valuations.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive efficiency and value-for-money across the project.
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, providing ongoing leadership and training.
- Review and approve 3rd party cost plans for applications to the Taylor Wimpey Cladding Remediation Fund.
- Monitor and report project remediation costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Liaise with external consultants involved in the commercial function.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of leading commercial teams on complex projects.
- Experience of high-rise construction and cladding remediation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and implement improvements to systems and processes.
- Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health and Safety requirements.
