About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Solution Architect to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Align business demands with our functional and strategic roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and effective solution delivery.
  • Design and implement solution options that align with customer needs, providing assurance and confidence in our solutions.
  • Develop Architecture Packs to communicate complex customer demands, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Create High-Level Designs to facilitate quotations from our IT service providers and mobilize IT projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage the production of weekly performance metrics for our Information Management and Technology leads, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, as well as capitalize on opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of technical and cloud-based solutions for non-secure data.
  • General knowledge of cloud architectural principles.

Desirable Skills:

  • Background in manufacturing or operational technology.
