About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate Business Value: Clearly articulate the concepts and benefits of Data Science, AI/ML, MLOps, and software modernization to our business stakeholders.
  • Define Data Governance: Establish processes, governance, and standards for the development of Data Science and AI/ML products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Science Team: Work closely with our Data Science team to support the delivery of products into the business, defining architectural patterns, high-level solution designs, and quality oversight.
  • Implement Application Toolchains: In conjunction with Group IM&T, research and implement application toolchains for the development of Data Science and AI/ML products, their supporting environments, and underpinning infrastructure.
  • Ensure Architectural Documentation: Ensure all architectural and service documentation is created and maintained for the Data Science domain.
  • Create Architectural Solutions: Develop architectural high-level solution designs for triaged business needs based on derived business requirements.
  • Ensure Interoperability: Ensure all architectural solutions are consistent with Group IM&T and SS D&A architectural principles, frameworks, models, and company-mandated standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a relevant subject, such as Maths, Engineering, IT computing, or Science (STEM).
  • Experience: Proven experience of working in the data domain, with a strong background in data modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
