Role Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the security framework across our technological landscape. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the security architecture for our applications and information systems.
  • Ensuring that the security posture of our naval operations is strong, with clear documentation of risks and necessary mitigations.
  • Providing consultative support to enterprise architecture, ensuring compliance with established security standards in solution designs.
  • Leading the development and ownership of a security architecture strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Establishing security architectural standards and governance across all technology platforms.
  • Offering specialized security guidance and recommending best practices across various programs and teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • In-depth knowledge of Information/IT Security practices, particularly within the defense sector or other highly regulated environments.
  • Expertise in security architecture and cyber security infrastructure technologies, including implementation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including ISO27001 and/or NIST standards.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with service providers to deliver IT systems in regulated environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience in complex, multi-site, and decentralized organizations.
  • Proficiency in IT Security Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and/or SABSA.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
