Position Overview

Job Title: Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Location: Flexible working arrangements available.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the security framework across our software and data landscape.
  • Ensuring that the security posture of our naval systems is strong, with a clear understanding of risks and necessary mitigations.
  • Providing consultative support to enterprise architecture, ensuring compliance with security standards in all solution designs.
  • Developing and owning a security architecture strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Establishing security architectural standards and governance across all technology platforms.
  • Offering expert security guidance and recommending strategies across various programs and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • In-depth knowledge of Information/IT Security practices within the defense sector or similarly regulated industries.
  • Expertise in security architecture and cyber security infrastructure technologies, including their implementation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including ISO27001 and/or NIST standards.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with service providers to deliver IT systems in regulated environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience in complex, multi-site, and decentralized organizations.
  • Background in IT Security Architecture, including frameworks like TOGAF and/or SABSA.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
