Job Title: Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Salary: Competitive salary based on skills and experience, up to £80,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the security framework across our application and information landscape.
  • Ensuring the security posture of naval vessels is robust, with clearly understood and documented risks and mitigations.
  • Providing consultative support to enterprise architecture, ensuring all solution designs comply with established standards and frameworks.
  • Taking ownership of a security architecture strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Establishing security architectural standards and governance across all technology platforms within the organization.
  • Offering specialized security advice and recommending best practices across various programs, teams, and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • In-depth knowledge of Information/IT Security practices within the defense sector or similarly regulated environments.
  • Expertise in security architecture and cyber security infrastructure technologies, including implementation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including ISO27001 and/or NIST standards.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with internal and external service providers to deliver IT systems in regulated environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in complex, multi-site, federated, and decentralized organizations.
  • IT Security Architecture experience, including TOGAF and/or SABSA certifications.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
