Academic Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Support Professional, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the resources and encouragement they need to thrive.
Job Requirements- Previous experience working with children or adults with special educational needs is essential.
- Knowledge of various SEN conditions (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) and strategies to support students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including helping with personal care and mobility support as required.
As part of our dedicated team, you will participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to ensure you are equipped with the latest knowledge and strategies to support our students.
This is a temporary position, but in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
