Special Needs Educator

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at a welcoming school in Camden. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education and well-being.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting students with special educational needs is essential.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Deep commitment to helping students with SEN, exhibiting patience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN education (desirable but not essential).
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. They will be required to hold an enhanced DBS registration on the updated service. We offer equal opportunities to applicants from all members of the community.
