Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Support

Location: North London, South East England

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a primary school in Camden on a supply basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
  • Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in EYFS/Year1.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with SEMH and SEND children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £27 per hour, depending on experience.
