Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in a part-time role based in EYFS. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for EYFS and experience in delivering intervention programmes.

This SEN TA role involves supporting individual children with learning activities, communication, social interaction, behaviour management, and emotional regulation. You will deliver interventions to children with additional needs, particularly autism, on a personalised basis for each child.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a UK Primary School and have a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree. You must also have knowledge and experience of delivering intervention programmes, how to support children with SEN, and a compassionate, caring nature.

We estimate that the daily pay for this part-time SEN TA role is in the range of £90 to £110 depending on experience.

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree e.g. Childhood Studies, SEN, Psychology
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
  • Experience as SEN TA supporting children with additional needs, particularly autism
