SEN Teaching Assistant Position

Prospero Teaching is working with a warm and welcoming SEN school to find a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join their complex needs team. The school has the specialist knowledge, skills and resources to meet the needs of pupils aged 11-18 years old with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, as well as other co-occurring conditions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people or young adults with SEN, a strong understanding of the SEN curriculum, and a proven record of good/outstanding feedback from lesson observations/performance management. They must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, and provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
This full-time position offers a minimum rate of pay £100 per day, with hours from 9:30am - 3:30pm. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of dedicated and skilled professionals to deliver the best support for pupils, encouraging and challenging them to explore their full potential.
