Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Lancaster. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide support for children with additional needs.
Job Description: The successful candidate will work in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) providing support for individual children with learning activities, communication, social interaction, behaviour management, and emotional regulation. They will also deliver interventions to children with autism on a personalized basis for each child.
Responsibilities:
- Support children with additional needs in EYFS
- Deliver interventions to children with autism and other special needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's learning
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree (e.g., Childhood Studies, SEN, Psychology)
- Professional references covering the last two full years
- Experience working in a UK Primary School
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant supporting children with additional needs, particularly autism
What We Offer: A competitive salary of £93 per day, depending on experience.
