London, Greater London, United Kingdom Priory Group Full time

CAMHS Therapist Opportunity

Priory Group is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our outpatient team and provide therapeutic care to patients in line with our policy.

We are particularly keen to hear from CBT therapists, but will consider other modalities. The successful candidate will be an accredited member of the BACP or UKCP and have at least 5 years experience of working with young people aged 12 to 20.

This is an exciting time to join a growing outpatient CAMHS service as we look to build the full continuum of care, providing our patients with a range of services from inpatient to outpatient.

Reporting to the Outpatient Therapy Lead, the successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload of patients/couples, scheduling appointments, providing intervention and giving feedback based on the assessment and agreed direction.

We hold our clinical record keeping to the highest standards and the successful candidate will be expected to do the same. This is also true of incident reporting and safeguarding, which are especially important within our CAMHS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of patients/couples
  • Schedule appointments and provide intervention
  • Give feedback based on assessment and agreed direction
  • Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and incident reporting

About Priory Group:

Priory Group is the UK's leading provider of behavioural care. We have an outstanding reputation for the service we deliver and for the investment we make in our people and environment.

We are committed to providing the highest standards of care and are looking for a skilled Therapist to join our team.
