Speech and Language Therapist for Children and Young People

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic speech and language therapy team as a Children and Young People's Speech and Language Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy to children and young people with a range of speech, language, and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of children and young people with speech, language, and communication difficulties, working collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Provide speech and language therapy to children and young people in schools and other settings, using a range of evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure that children and young people receive the support they need to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of speech and language therapy services in schools, working collaboratively with other therapists and professionals to ensure that services are effective and efficient.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure that your skills and knowledge are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of children and young people with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification
- Health Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice
- Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
- Experience of working with children and young people with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
