Financial Coordinator

The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to join our Treasury Function at Kingston University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing domestic and international payments, allocating bank receipts, and reconciling card payments and online store transactions.
You will work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Research Finance, Procurement, and HR Payroll Functions to ensure seamless financial operations. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with many challenges and opportunities for growth. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, identifying areas for process improvement, and implementing changes to enhance financial efficiency.
The Person
We are looking for a self-motivated and responsible individual with excellent time and priority management skills. You must be organized, have good attention to detail, and be able to work accurately and professionally at all times. A good team player with a flexible and adaptable approach is essential.
You will possess a very good level of proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ideally, you will have previous accounting experience and/or academic study, and be studying for, or have a willingness to study for, an agreed accountancy qualification.
