Join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd as a Planner Scheduler, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's field service activities.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Planner Scheduler to join our team, responsible for optimizing service and support planning, assignment, and dispatching. You will be skilled in scheduling in an accurate and efficient manner, taking into consideration ever-changing priorities and spare parts supply constraints.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize service and support planning, assignment, and dispatching to ensure timely and efficient field service visits.
- Update and manage the service schedule in a timely and accurate manner, considering spare parts supply constraints.
- Plan and communicate with customers and internal teams to confirm appointments and action plans.
- Assign and dispatch field agents with the right skills to work orders and in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure field agents are equipped with required parts to perform field service visits.
- Coordinate and communicate with the service teams, including coordinating all types of field activities and assisting with UKI planning projects.
- Identify resource needs, shortages, or excesses, and implement process and KPI improvements to manage geographical and organizational complexities.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to provide input for spare parts planning, orders, and delivery, and manage third-party logistics companies as required.
- Inform stakeholders about any unplanned activity that may impact field service visits and prioritize accordingly.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3 years of experience in project management, field engineer scheduling, and customer service. You will also have basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, with medical device and instrument experience being advantageous. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, CRM (Salesforce), and SAP is essential.
You will be an excellent communicator at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
