Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Property Development team as a Graduate Property Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and developing state-of-the-art retail sites that define our customers' shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise and management capabilities in property development and acquisition
  • Rotate through our Acquisitions, Construction, Facilities, and Head Office teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business operations
  • Learn how a rapidly growing retail business operates from stores to logistics and supply chain
  • Develop into a role in your core area and take on real project responsibility
  • Gain exposure to a national property team and learn the market inside-out
  • Understand how a successful property team operates and what skills you need to thrive

Requirements:

  • A degree (2:2 or above) in Property, Real Estate, Surveying, or Facilities Management by September 2024 or graduated no earlier than September 2022
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential for this role
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • To be a true people person with energy, passion, resilience, and adaptability
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
  • A passion for playing your part in a team and ability to work independently
  • Self-motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills while challenging yourself in your work
  • To live or have the ability to commute within one hour to regional location
