Lidl is seeking a talented Construction Graduate to join our team and embark on a 23-month programme that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry.

About the Programme

As a Construction Graduate, you will rotate through our Acquisitions, Construction, Facilities, and Head Office teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how a rapidly growing retail business operates. You will develop expertise and management capabilities, learn how to identify, acquire, and deliver state-of-the-art retail sites, and take on real project responsibility.

What You'll Do

  • Develop expertise and management capabilities
  • Rotate through our Acquisitions, Construction, Facilities, and Head Office teams
  • Learn how a rapidly growing retail business operates
  • Take on real project responsibility
  • Gain exposure to a national property team and learn the market inside-out
  • Understand how a successful property team operates and what skills you need to thrive

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying by September 2024 or graduated no earlier than September 2022
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential for this role
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • To be a true people person with energy, passion, resilience, and adaptability
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
  • A passion for playing your part in a team and ability to work independently
  • Self-motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills while challenging yourself in your work
  • To live or have the ability to commute within one hour to a regional location
