Job Summary

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate to join their Procurement team. As a Graduate Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating indirect supplier contracts, coordinating and overseeing tender processes, and preparing summaries and project status documents for senior management personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and coordination
  • Tender process management and negotiation
  • Market research and analysis
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing project status documents and summaries
  • Managing and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Acting as an ambassador for Lidl in dealings with third parties

Requirements

  • A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline by September 2024 or graduated no earlier than September 2022
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential for this role
  • Already live or happy to relocate within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Headoffice, Tolworth, Surrey
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • A passion for the Procurement cycle
  • Strategic and innovative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Will to travel nationally and internationally, including occasional overnight stays
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
