About this Opportunity:
Join us at East Herts Family Centres in Hatfield as a Children's Activity Volunteer This is a fantastic chance to make a difference in the lives of local families with young children.
About the Role:
This volunteer role requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per week. You will work closely with our team to plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 0-11 years. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Activity Planning: Collaborate with our team to plan and prepare activities for children, ensuring they are fun, educational, and engaging.
- Social Interaction: Develop strong relationships with families, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
- Child Development: Support parents in their babies' development and learning, providing guidance and resources when needed.
Requirements:
- Aged 18 or over
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Commitment to online and face-to-face training
- Friendly approach
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
