As a volunteer with ELSA Next Generation, you will have the opportunity to work with Key Stage 4 students (ages 15-16) at Links Academy. The goal of the Get Work Ready program is to prepare students for the workforce by providing them with valuable skills and experiences.

What You Will Do

During this morning event, volunteers will support students through career-focused workshops and mock interviews. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a unique school experience and wanting to make a positive impact on young lives.

The estimated salary for this role is £9-11 per hour, based on national standards and the location of Hatfield, Hertfordshire. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to engage in small-group career-focused discussions and activities, lasting 20-30 minutes. Students may initially be hesitant but gradually become engaged.

Volunteer involvement is essential in promoting networking, skill awareness, interactive tasks, and aspiration elevation. Your impact will be immense, inspiring and preparing students for the workforce.
