About the RoleWe are seeking volunteers to support our Get Work Ready program at Links Academy, working closely with Key Stage 4 students (ages 15-16) to enhance their career aspirations and employability skills.
This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives, promoting networking, skill awareness, and aspiration elevation through interactive tasks and mock interviews.
The role involves assisting with simple recruitment activities, sharing personal experiences, and engaging in small-group career-focused discussions and activities lasting 20-30 minutes.
With staff guidance, you will be supporting students who are currently excluded from mainstream schools, helping them prepare for the workforce and build confidence in their abilities.
A Zoom call prior to the day will discuss what to expect and ensure a smooth experience for all involved.
Estimated Salary: £12.50 per hour (dependent on location and industry standards)
