Overview

The Role:
This is an exciting chance to become an integral part of ION Group's dynamic Information Security team. As a highly skilled and experienced Data Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compliance with industry standards and safeguarding its information assets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leverage your expertise to lead and manage SOC2 audit processes, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and controls.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  4. Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  5. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Promote awareness and training programs among employees on information security policies and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for enhancing the security program.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports on the status of the information security program to senior management.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data security management.
  3. Demonstrated success in leading SOC2 audits and ensuring compliance with SOC2 standards.
  4. Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  7. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
