Job Description

The Vetting Operations Team

The Vetting Operations Team at NTT Data is responsible for providing an effective personnel security culture and managing day-to-day personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management, and general security processes. The team advises management on the interpretation and implementation of contractual and legislative security controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the security aftercare process and insider threat risk management.
  • Assist with the production and implementation of policies and processes for handling aftercare-related activities, including security appraisal forms, change of personal circumstance reports, and aftercare incident reporting.
  • Implement policy and protocols for monitoring the security conduct of staff to identify suspicious behavior and NSV individuals who may be vulnerable or susceptible to coercion.
  • Implement mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of security training and ongoing improvements to training.
  • Provide security advice to client management and employees within NTT Data.
  • Assist with coordinating the planning of security controls for new contracts or alterations to buildings where classified assets are handled, stored, or produced.
  • Contribute to the security transformation project, providing expertise on IPSA/FSC implementation and UK Government security frameworks.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of FSC/IPSA accredited business or involvement with UK Government Security Frameworks.
  • Experience managing insider threat for UK government or accredited FSC/IPSA business.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NVS process and aftercare requirements.
  • Ability to identify clear outcomes and approaches regarding physical security.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ISO2001 standard for cyber security.
  • Previous experience working in a secure environment adhering to security measures and data protection principles.
  • Ability to analyze information thoroughly and critically and produce comprehensive and detailed reports on complex security issues.
  • Experience producing security policy.
  • Ability to undergo and successfully complete SC process with potential for DV clearance.
