NHS Senior Administrative Coordinator Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role within the NHS. The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams and have a strong understanding of primary care operations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the practice manager in the day-to-day management of the practice.
  • Leading the operational management team and ensuring that all aspects of practice functionality are running smoothly.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
  • Working closely with the practice manager to ensure that all staff are motivated and trained to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics to ensure that we are meeting our targets.

Requirements

  • GCSE English C or above.
  • Qualifications/Certificates in Leadership and/or Management.
  • Previous experience of working in Primary Care.
  • Knowledgeable about recruitment staff, training, and staff motivation.
  • Ability to understand and learn new software and administrative procedures.
  • Experience of implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Practical experience of managing health and safety at work.

Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
