The NHS is looking for a skilled Adult Social Care Policy Specialist to join its Critical Care team in Leeds. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the development of adult social care policy and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Your expertise will help shape the rehabilitation programme, setting achievable goals and priorities.

A salary of approximately £43,141 - £60,258 per annum reflects the importance of this role in driving excellence in patient care.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience at Band 6 level within the specialty, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to prioritise workload, understand the skills and knowledge required to develop team members, and possess a recognised teaching qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based policies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Providing expert guidance and support to colleagues, carers, and patients
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN Adult) qualification
  • Educated to degree level
  • Postgraduate certificate in critical care or equivalent course relevant to the specialty
